In a remarkable fashion choice, Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the 41st edition of the “la Caixa” Foundation’s postgraduate scholarship award ceremony alongside King Felipe.
The attire worn by the Queen is a dress that holds a special meaning.
It is a garment that she wore previously during the NATO summit held in Madrid last year, which triumphed among the attendees for its elegant and timeless design.

Queen Letizia wears a polka-dot print dress
The dress, made by Laura Bernal from Murcia, features a Spanish-inspired polka dot print.
Its midi length and “ladylike” cut, with a sleeveless V-neckline and blazer collar, add a touch of sophistication.
The garment is made of cotton brocade with devoré polka dots, the dress also includes a built-in belt of the same fabric, which accentuates the Queen’s silhouette.
This is not the first time that Queen Letizia wears a Laura Bernal creation. Months later, her daughter, Princess Leonor, also opted for a design by the talented designer for the concert before the Princess of Asturias Awards in Oviedo.
For that occasion, Princess Leonor wore a striking fuchsia outfit, composed of a uniquely shaped jacket with a large buttonhole and matching fabric bow, combined with wide-legged pants slightly flared at the bottom.
The Queen opted to wear Isabel Abdo heels on her feet, specifically the Carrie model.
Given her foot ailments, such as metatarsalgia and Morton’s neuroma, the kitten heels provided the Queen with comfort and elegance.
Isabel Abdo’s heels, priced at 240 euros, are a testament to her keen eye for footwear that balances style and practicality.
Completing her regal ensemble, Her Majesty adorned herself with Gold & Roses earrings, model Luzia. These exquisite pieces, crafted in rose gold and diamonds, depict stars, with two stars on one earring and three on the other.
The earrings were premiered when Queen Rania of Jordan visited Spain. She also wore her beloved Coreterno ring, a constant presence in her accessories collection.
