Princess Leonor, 18, had a busy morning in Zaragoza.

The oldest daughter of King Felipe, 56, and Queen Letizia, 51, attended events at the Aljafería Palace, the Zaragoza City Hall, and the Seo San Salvador Cathedral.

There, the Princess of Asturias received three important distinctions: the Medal of Aragon, the Medal of the Cortes de Aragon and the title of Adoptive Daughter.

During these acts, he gave a speech and signed in the honor books, where his signature, which has been the subject of analysis, stood out.

Comparing Queen Letizia’s and Princess Leonor’s signatures

Princess Leonor wrote formal notes of gratitude for the awards, reflecting on her year at the Military Academy in Zaragoza.

Her signature caught attention because she writes her initial, “L,” just like her mother, Queen Letizia.

Both their names start with “L,” and despite many ways to write it, their signatures look almost identical. This similarity is seen as a nod to her mother, her greatest teacher.

From a graphology (handwriting analysis) perspective, Leonor’s signature reveals a lot about her personality.

Using a signature similar to her mother’s suggests that they share certain traits.

To understand Leonor’s personality through her signature, analyses from three graphologists were reviewed.

Liliana Garza, a graphologist, analyzed Queen Letizia’s signature and shared her insights.

She said, “The elements of the signature indicate a strong need for recognition, suggesting a desire to excel and be valued for her achievements. This constant pursuit of excellence, from royal duties to personal aspects, shows a high level of perfectionism.”

Garza highlighted Letizia’s strong personality and dedication to her duties.

Also noted that in social settings, Letizia’s signature shows selective trust, meaning she carefully chooses her close friends.

Additionally, Letizia’s signature reflects her keen observation skills. Seeing Leonor’s similar signature, some of these traits may apply to her as well.

This indicates that Letizia’s personality and work ethic have influenced Leonor, who looks up to her parents as role models.

Carlos Rodríguez, another graphologist, analyzed Leonor’s signature for Vanity Fair when she was 12 years old.

He noted her shy and emotional nature. Even then, her signature was the same, though less polished.

Rodríguez said that the slant of letters like the “L” shows rational thinking with an emotional base.

He pointed out that the way Leonor connects the letters “eo” reflects her shyness. The sharp angle of the “L” indicates strength, a trait Leonor shares with her mother.

Sandra Cerro, another graphologist, also analyzed Queen Letizia’s signature.

On her website, Cerro mentioned, “Her signature shows an open mind, clear ideas, and strong values, with a deep sense of discipline and duty.” About the similar “L” in both signatures, Cerro said, “The tall, uppercase initials highlight charisma, pride, and self-confidence, with hints of feminine elegance.”

These observations underscore Letizia’s strength, which Leonor is also developing.

Another common detail in both signatures is the period placed after their titles.

According to Cerro, this signifies a desire to keep a distance from others and protect their privacy, hinting at some level of distrust.

Both mother and daughter show strong character, a sense of duty, and a need for privacy, as revealed by their signatures.
