Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley attended the coronation of King Charles III this Saturday, May 6, 2023. Her attendance was in doubt after rumors grew about an alleged affair between her and Prince William that put the monarchy on alert.
The Marquise’s son, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, played a prominent role in the ceremony as King Charles’ page of honor, a job he shared with Prince George, Nicholas Barclay, and Ralph Tollemache. The pages had the task of carrying the heavy robes down the aisle of Westminster Abbey.

As expected, the wife of David Rocksavage, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley who was Lord Great Chamberlain to Queen Elizabeth and has now been promoted to Lord-in-Waiting to King Charles, attended the coronation ceremony in a look that has given much to talk about.
Hanbury wore an outfit that many associated with the style of Princess Kate Middleton. In fact, she wore the same model of shoes that the Princess of Wales had worn just a couple of hours earlier, explains the Daily Mail.
The Marchioness of Cholmondeley wore a vintage black and white ankle-length dress designed by Ozzie Clark. The model was similar to the fitted white dress and black belt worn by the Princess of Wales on The Mall.
The 39-year-old aristocrat also wore the same model of the black Aquazzura shoes that Kate wore during the walk with Prince William and the King before lunch at Buckingham Palace.
