Since the beginning of the new rumors about Prince William’s alleged infidelity to Kate Middleton with her friend, Rose Hanbury, the name and the whole family of the Marchioness of Cholmondeley have been under scrutiny by the press.
Media from all over the world are interested in knowing the woman who supposedly would have shaken the marriage of the future kings of England.
Already many know Rose, a friend of the Princess of Wales, who is no longer part of her circle of friends since the compromising images of her and William in a nightclub were disseminated in 2019. Now, it is her sister, Marina Hanbury who arouses the interest of the press.
Who is Marina Hanbury, Rose Hanbury’s sister
Marina Hanbury, like her sister, was a model. They paraded for luxury fashion houses such as Escada at London Fashion Week.
Before getting married, Rose Hanbury worked as an advisor to Conservative politician Michael Gove. Both Rose and her sister Marina were the talks of the tabloids when they were photographed in swimsuits with former minister Tony Blair in Tuscany in 2005. Blair has always been dogged by rumors of infidelity.
Rose Hanbury and her sister Marina are great friends, as well as work colleagues at the time when the current Marchioness of Cholmondeley was a model.
Marina also likes older men and is married to Ned Lambton, the Earl of Durham, who is about 20 years her senior. Marina was 28 and Ned was 48 when they announced they were getting married.
The Journal reported that they “started dating after Christmas in 2009” and became engaged “just three months” later. They married in January 2011.
But this relationship has not been without controversy either. According to the Daily Mail, Marina became engaged to Lambton shortly after it became known that she shared an apartment with Ned’s son Fred, Viscount Lambton.
To top it off, Fred was once engaged to Marina’s younger sister Rose.
“It’s all a bit incestuous because Rose dated Fred when she was younger and Marina also shared an apartment with him for a while,” a close source told the British newspaper.
Controversy follows her because Marina’s husband is the son of the late former Conservative former defense minister Lord Lambton, who resigned after being caught with a prostitute in 1973. Ned became the 7th Earl on his father’s death in 2006 and inherited a fortune of $14 million.
