Queen Camilla showcased her fun-loving spirit during the British state visit to France on Thursday, September 21.
In a lighthearted moment captured on video, the Queen engaged in a friendly table tennis match with French First Lady Brigitte Macron.

This playful exchange underscored the warm relationship between the British and French heads of state.

On the second day of their trip, Queen Camilla and Brigitte Macron met with young people during a visit to a sports center in Saint-Denis, on the outskirts of Paris.
Earlier in the day, the Queen and the First Lady attended the National Library of France, where they celebrated the power of literature and inaugurated a new Franco-British literary award, the Entente Littéraire Prize.
This new award will recognize young adults and foster shared literary experiences between British and French citizens, strengthening cultural ties.
After their literary endeavors, the Queen consort and Madame Macron squared off at a ping-pong table.
Under the watchful eyes of staff members and photographers, it became evident that the 70-year-old French First Lady had a slight edge in the game over the wife of Charles III.
In the video, Queen Camilla, at 76, struggled to return the ball over the net.
She made several attempts, often missing the ball entirely.
Despite her novice performance on some shots, the Queen appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself. She laughed each time she missed a return, not taking the challenge too seriously.
This lighthearted moment delighted royal observers, with many commenting online about Queen Camilla’s amusing lack of table tennis skills.
However, some fans were pleased that both women dared to play in front of the cameras.
