The account that made the montage and that is dedicated to make this type of videos, had warned that it was “fake” but the audiovisual was shared on other platforms and spread as an authentic video on TikTok of the eldest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia.
Through deepfake, it is possible to substitute parts of the face, voice and even the body. By means of this technology, very realistic videos can be created. This type of manipulation abounds on the Internet.
From the Royal Household have affirmed to the portal Maldita.es that they have no record of the existence of any video published by Leonor, Princess of Asturias in TikTok.
There is no doubt that seeing the heiress of the crown on a social network and dancing to the rhythm of music is something that many teenagers would like to see.
