At least almost the entire royal family traveled to Geneva, Switzerland to celebrate the important date for the young girl, who will also celebrate her 18th birthday this weekend.
The Spanish press reported that King Juan Carlos I and his grandson Juan Froilán traveled from Abu Dhabi to Switzerland.
While the Infanta Elena, Queen Sofia, the Infanta Cristina, and her sons Juan, Miguel and Pablo also arrived in the European nation.

Meanwhile, Iñaki, Claire Liebaert, mother of the athlete, and the influencer Victoria Federica were also seen at the hotel at the Four Seasons Des Bergues Hotel, where the whole family stayed.
Irene Urdagarin’s graduation in Switzerland
In the images, so far broadcast by the Spanish programs, many of us were waiting for the photo between Iñaki Urdangarin and King Juan Carlos and that neither of the two had met in the same place since the scandal of the Nóos case that led to Iñaki to pay more than 5 years in prison.
Another uncomfortable meeting is that of the Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin. Irene’s parents are in the middle of divorce proceedings and this will be the first time that both coincide in a public event after learning of his relationship with Ainhoa Armentia.
Despite the large number of people surrounding Irene, there are a few absences that have drawn attention.
The most obvious are King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia and their daughters, Leonor and Sofia, who have long since distanced themselves from the rest of the family and have not coincided again.
Another absence is Ainhoa Armentia, Iñaki’s new girlfriend.
Heavy security measures at Irene’s graduation
Despite the attempts of the press to capture the best images of the family on the special date, this proved to be practically impossible due to the heavy security measures.
Also due to the attitude of some members of the family, Pablo and Miguel refused to give statements, despite Pablo’s good manners with journalists in the past.
However, the Infanta Cristina was more smiling, unlike the rest. Both Iñaki Urdangarin and his children had serious look on their faces.
