Irene Urdangarin, the daughter of Iñaki Urdangarin and Infanta Cristina, completed her high school studies at the International School, known as Ecolintel, last weekend.
The graduation ceremony and the subsequent party made a significant impact in Spain, as it managed to bring together almost the entire Spanish royal family.
Notably absent were King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Princess Sofia.
Nearly a week after this important date, Spanish media published previously unseen photographs of the 18-year-old’s graduation.
Irene Urdangarin’s Graduation
In the initial photos released by the press, it was evident that the emeritus kings, Juan Carlos and Sofia, once again put aside their differences and reunited for this family event.
Irene’s brothers Juan, Pablo, and Miguel also arrived in Geneva. Their father, Iñaki, was also in attendance, although there was no sign of Ainhoa Armentia.
Infanta Elena did not want to miss her niece’s graduation either, and her children, Felipe Juan Froilán and Victoria Federica, were also present.

Infanta Cristina flew to Geneva from Madrid after celebrating her 58th birthday a few days earlier in Cordoba with them.
She arrived dressed casually, wearing a navy blue shirt and pants, with a printed open blouse. Photographers were able to capture her arrival, and Irene and Pablo were particularly attentive to their mother.
Shortly after, Queen Sofia landed in the city, accompanied only by her bodyguards, and was also photographed.
Iñaki was the last to arrive at the celebration, as usual, appearing serious and unable to conceal his nervousness about potential tense encounters. He was accompanied by his mother, Claire Liebaert, and his son, Pablo.

Additionally, the photos depicted Cristina, Irene, and Pablo arriving at the Four Seasons, the hotel where they stayed, which happens to be one of the preferred accommodations of the royal family when they visit the city.
After the graduation party, each individual returned to their respective duties.
What is known so far is that Irene intends to continue living in Switzerland, as she plans to pursue studies in hotel management at the prestigious École Hôtelière University.
