Felipe Juan Froilán, the son of Infanta Elena and nephew of King Felipe of Spain, was involved in an event related to an alleged kidnapping.
Juan Froilán, as he is also known, went to the island of Ibiza to attend a party offered by the W Ibiza hotel, an exclusive event to which he had been invited, however, it was not all fun.
What happened with the kidnapping of Juan Froilán?
According to the Spanish press, the grandson of King Juan Carlos I, when he is on the island, usually stays in the luxurious villa of Es Cubells and it was precisely in that place where, last Saturday, April 30, 2022, some people tried to enter the property. Fortunately, the son of the Infanta Elena was not in the place.
¡Hola! magazine confirmed that King Felipe’s nephew was not at the property when the events occurred. The owner was in the house and noticed the violation of the perimeter of his property through the security cameras. Both he and the staff began yelling at the subjects who eventually ran away.
The suspects were armed and in their escape they would have left balaclavas and sleeping gas, which increases the hypothesis of a possible kidnapping. Although, as El Confidencial points out, it could also be a gang dedicated to robbing luxury homes and the gas would be used to put the occupants to sleep and take as many valuables as possible.
