    Highlights of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee (Photos)

    The British royal family is celebrating. Since last Thursday, June 2, the events to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 70th year on the throne officially began.

    On Thursday members of the monarchy gathered for the Trooping The Colour parade where for the first time Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were seen with the rest of the family since announcing their resignation from the royals.

    Then, on Friday, a church service was held at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, where members of ‘The Firm’, as the monarchy is also known, represented Her Majesty. For this appointment also appeared Harry and Meghan.

    The family was scattered in different parts of the UK to celebrate the representative of the Windsors. For example, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William were with their three children in Cardiff to attend a Jubilee celebration party, where the children stole the show with their innocence.

    This Sunday, June 5, marked the end of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and to close the festivities Her Majesty made a special appearance to end her weekend of celebrations.

    The monarch stepped out onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace to greet the crowds attending Sunday’s events. The Queen stepped out in a bright green double-crepe wool dress and coat by Stewart Parvin, which featured shiny gold buttons, paired with a matching green hat with a black pompom, designed by Rachel Trevor-Morgan.

    Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee Concert

    This was one of the most special events of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The concert brought together musical talents such as the legendary band Queen and singers of the stature of Alicia Keys, Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Rod Steward, Elton John, among others.
