Although many thought the Spanish royal family’s vacation in Mallorca was over, the royals surprised many by showing up together to go to the movies.
King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofia, and Queen Emeritus Sofia were photographed by passersby and tourists as they arrived at the CineCiutat cinemas in Palma, Mallorca, reports Vanity Fair.
Spain’s royal family at the cinema in Mallorca
In recent days it has been commented that the family remained on the Spanish island, but the truth is that they have not been seen since last Saturday’s dinner, and it was assumed that they had begun their private vacation outside the Balearic Islands.

The Princess of Asturias, the Infanta Sofía, and the rest of the family appeared at the cinemas, to the amazement of the people who were having a drink on the terraces around the mythical cinemas.
The first to enter was Felipe and Letizia, followed by their daughters and Sofia.
Although they did not speak to those present, it is very likely that they saw Oppenheimer, the acclaimed film by Christopher Nolan.
Princess Leonor and Sofia at the movies
For this informal outing, Leonor broke the tradition of her recent green outfits and decided to wear a V-neck, long-sleeved midi dress in pink.
She combined the look with her espadrilles, which have become her favorite summer footwear and also carried a white bag.
Infanta Sofia, on the other hand, wore a short cream dress with a pink print and her inseparable espadrilles.
Queen Letizia opted for simplicity and comfort, wearing a white maxi shirt paired with blue pants and flat sandals.
This outing comes just a few days before Princess Leonor enters the Military Academy and Infanta Sofia bids farewell to her family to spend two years in Wales at the UWC Atlantic College boarding school.
