The British royal family has gathered for Queen Elizabeth’s last walk through the streets of London. The coffin with the remains of Her Majesty left in procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster, where it will remain until the state funeral scheduled for Monday, September 19.
All in strict mourning and with sad faces were captured inside the building where the British Parliament operates and which has been chosen for hundreds of thousands of people to attend the last farewell of the monarch with the longest reign in history.

Procession of the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II
The first of the events that are part of the Queen’s funeral in London was the procession. In it the four children of the monarch: King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward paraded behind the hearse of their mother.
Behind them Prince William, Harry and further back the Queen’s other grandchildren paraded behind the hearse. All dressed in military uniform except Prince Andrew who was forced to resign for his scandals and Prince Harry who also resigned from his duties in the monarchy.
The Queen’s coffin arrived at Westminster where Queen Camilla, Catherine, Princess of Wales, Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex joined the service.
As did the rest of the family, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, with their respective husbands; Lady Louise and James Mountbatten-Windsor, the children of Princess Anne; Zara Tindall with her husband Mike Tindall and Peter Phillips.
During the service Queen Beatrice’s granddaughters Eugenie and Lady Louise could not hide the feeling and shed some tears for their grandmother. Beatrice was very close to the monarch, in fact, she was married in a dress that belonged to the late queen and wore the same tiara that Elizabeth II wore at her wedding to the Duke of Edinburgh.

On the Queen’s coffin, in addition to the royal standard, rested the Imperial Crown of State, the same one she wore on the day of her coronation 70 years ago.
