Queen Letizia, has once again appeared in white to kick off a very special week for her. The Spanish monarch turns 50 on September 15.
The queen, along with King Felipe VI, attended the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid for the opening ceremony of the Picasso Year, an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the painter’s death.
The last appearance of the consort had been last Friday where she dressed in mourning to visit with her husband the British ambassador for the death of Elizabeth II.
Queen Letizia’s white dress
On this occasion, Letizia has opted for a new all-white dress very flattering. Specifically, it is a kimono midi dress that stylized her figure thanks to the die-cut details of the fabric. The sleeves were very flowing as was her belt.
But this all-white look could not miss a touch of color, choosing Magrit pumps and red handbag. As for jewelry, the queen has rescued her Tous earrings and has not forgotten to wear her Karen Hallam ring.
Queen Letizia agenda
The Queen of Spain will appear again on Wednesday with the King to attend the inauguration of the extension of the University Hospital of Guadalajara. The next time she will appear in public will be the day after her birthday to attend a concert by the National Orchestra and Choir of Spain. Then on Monday, September 19, the Queen and the King will be in London to attend the state funeral of Elizabeth II.
