    Pablo Urdangarin talks about his girlfriend, his hobbies, and his passion for handball

    Pablo Urdangarin, 22, the athletic son of Iñaki Urdangarin and Infanta Cristina, has surprised by giving a revealing interview to EFE at the Joan Gamper Sports City.

    In an unusual gesture, Pablo opened his heart. He spoke unreservedly about various topics that concern him, such as his sports career, his family, his tastes, and even his romantic relationship.

    Pablo Urdangarin’s first interview

    During the interview, Pablo reminisced about his beginnings in handball while studying at the French Lycée, and how he managed to resume his passion for the sport when he moved to Geneva with his family after a stay in Washington.

    “When I returned to Europe, I was able to continue playing. Then I was in Germany, in Hannover, and that’s when I realized it was what I wanted to do and took it more seriously,” he shared enthusiastically.

    When asked if his father, Iñaki Urdangarin, had put a lot of pressure on him with handball, the new Granollers team signing admitted that he had.

    “Yes, yes. He showed me games and I have also been looking for them on my own and they are appearing, it’s a little strange to see him play, but I love it.”

    Pablo Urdangarin revealed that he learned a lot from his father in terms of “aspiring to be the best, working hard every day and, for example, how to face the return to the courts after an injury, something very difficult”.

    When asked if he would return to FC Barcelona at some point, Pablo replied:

    “I have been lucky enough to play and, who knows, maybe at some point in my life I will have the opportunity to return. But now comes a very important chapter in my life, which is to start with Granollers, and I really want to give it my all”.

    Pablo expressed his confidence that he will do “very well” in Granollers and praised the figure of his new coach, Antonio Rama.

    Off the court, Pablo Urdangarin admitted that he is not a very active person on social networks.

    “I keep my privacy, as far as I can, I prefer to keep my private life to myself. I follow the people I’m interested in, my friends, my family, but I’m not one of those who shows his private life.”

    During the interview, Pablo mentioned for the first time Johanna Zott as his “girlfriend”, admitting that he enjoys “making plans with her and her family”. He also said: “I have cousins in Barcelona, I do things with them, to feel more like family”.

    What hobbies does Pablo Urdangarin have?

    As for his preferences, he confessed that he prefers “watching movies and series” instead of reading. He revealed that the last series he watched on Netflix was ‘Night Agent’. The young man assured that he watches a lot of movies: “I’m a fan”, summarized Pablo Urdangarin.
