Pablo Urdangarin, the son of the Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin, can’t be having a better year professionally. However, it seems that ending 2022 with the same success will cost him a little and it is that the grandson of the emeritus kings of Spain has suffered an injury while playing a match.
The nephew of King Felipe is excelling in handball, the same sport discipline of his father Iñaki, but in his last match he had an unfortunate fall and will be out of the team.
How was Pablo Urdangarin’s injury?
According to some Spanish portals, Pablo, 21 years old, suffered an injury during the match between his team Barça and Blendio Sinfín. During that match Pablo scored three goals and just when he was about to make a play he collided with a rival and ended up with a sprained right ankle.
Although everything seems to indicate that the injury is not serious, he must still rest if he wants to participate in the next game. Victoria Federica‘s cousin now has his right leg in a cast up to the knee and uses crutches.
It is not known how long he will remain like this, but for now he will have to celebrate his birthday in a quiet way. The second son of the Infanta Cristina will be 22 years old on December 6.
