Meghan Markle, 41, continues to reap success with her work. This March 30, 2023, it was announced that the Duchess of Sussex’s podcast won a Gracie Award.
Prince Harry’s wife has been recognized as a presenter for her Spotify podcast Archetypes.
What are the Gracie Awards
These awards are held to recognize individual achievements and programming by women, and about women, in all entertainment and news formats. This is the 48th edition of the awards.
The awards are organized by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, and the Duchess thanked the Foundation for recognizing her work, as published in People magazine.
“Thank you to the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation for this prestigious honor. This is a shared success for me and for the team behind Archetypes, most of whom are women, and the inspiring guests who joined me each week,” Meghan said in a statement shared on the Archewell Foundation website.
The Gracies 2023 winners will be honored at an event at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles on May 23.

The Meghan Markle podcast went live after the Sussexes announced a partnership with Spotify in 2020. As they explained the space intends to “investigate, dissect and subvert the labels that try to hold women back.”
Over the course of 12 episodes, they’ve had such luxury interviewees as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, Margaret Cho, Lisa Ling, Constance Wu, Paris Hilton, Issa Rae, and Jameela Jamil for conversations about ambition, race, mental health, among others.
