Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, 58, looked elegant and very youthful in her most recent official engagement for the British monarchy.
The wife of Prince Edward has been doing wonderfully with her new royal title and proof of that was her rejuvenated look to inaugurate the new edition of the Royal Windsor Flower Show, a horticultural festival promoted more than a century ago by Queen Victoria and supported since then by the British royal family.
In particular, this event was held at Windsor Great Park, the estate in which is located on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Sofia of Edinburgh’s look at the Royal Windsor Flower Show
For this special event, the mother of Lady Louise and James, Earl of Wessex, decided to wear a beautiful long dress by the Italian luxury brand Etro, with short sleeves and printed in pastel shades.
To kick off the summer, the day in Windsor was very sunny and the Duchess of Edinburgh wore Ray Ban sunglasses that revealed the more casual side of her look.
As for the accessories, she decided to wear shoes and a bag also with a clear summer inspiration. Specifically, she chose wedge espadrilles from the British brand Penelope Chilvers.
Sophia’s bag is made of raffia from the brand of Sofia of Habsburg, the princess who has conquered other members of European royalty with her designs.
With this very relaxed bet, the Duchess showed that she is taking note to perfect her style now that she has been taking a more active position as a member of the British royal family for months.
